Mike Trout on-card auto, numbered. That's how we started the week off in the Vintage Breaks card breaks!
2023 Bowman's Best baseball just dropped on January 17th. Featuring a nice mix of prospects, rookies, and vets, the Chrome cards are some of the hottest in the hobby right now. We just broke a box for one of our break-a-maniacs, Greg R., and pulled a numbered Mike Trout auto!
This is a Reel to Reel insert. You can see the old film reel design on the bottom of the card, with Trout in each film cel. Remember going to movies back in the day when projectors used these film strips?! Trout signed the card in the middle, above the film strip, and just under himself. Trout is in the red Angels jersey, perhaps looking to take another pitch deep. Love how Trout is in the middle of the Reel to Reel title! The hit is numbered to 150. Our newest breakers, Rob and Marc, were pretty stunned. Huge congrats, Greg!
