Explaining What a Set Break is with Vintage Breaks and How You Can Join

Vintage Breaks is the world leader in set breaks! What exactly IS a set break? We'll explain what a set break is, how it works, and how you can join our next break with your chance at iconic cards such as a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie.

You may have heard the term "set break" during our card breaks. Perhaps you've seen the MANY set breaks we have available on our website, too. Today we'll show you what a set break is, and how you can join in one of ours.

A complete set of cards is broken down by spot. For example, a 1986-87 Fleer basketball set has 132 total cards. A set break of this '86 Fleer would contain 132 spots. Each spot your purchase guarantees you one card from the set; everyone in the break will receive a card! Once all 132 spots are filled, we randomize the list of names that have a spot in the break live on our stream during our card breaks. After the random, the number you land on correlates to the card you'll receive from the set. Using that 1986-87 Fleer set, if your name lands on spot number 1 after the random, you take home card number 1 in the set - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. If you land on spot 57, card number 57 is yours - the Michael Jordan rookie card!

A set break is a wonderful way for you to own a big-time card at a small-time price. Imagine paying $19.50 for a Wayne Gretzky rookie card! How would you love to own a Mickey Mantle rookie card for $249.50?

We have multiple, incredible set breaks available on our site for you right now. Here are a just a few set breaks you can join:
